The last Sunday....

Here is a note I got from Leyna today:

Hey Mom! We are at Tom ond Lou's house today. We are taking them out for a late brunch to tell them thank you for all that they have done for us while we were in San Miguel. They leave on Tuesday to go visit their son in Houston, so they will be gone when we leave. They have been so kind to both Melissa and I. Lou was the one who gave us the opportunity to help with the animal shelter down here, and Tom is so passionate about work with the orphans, he was inspirational. He helped us with some of our projects like the pictures.

I probably won't get to talk to you today, but all is well. The church that we were going to try today is not close enough for us to get to, but we hung out here today and listened to worship music and stuff. It was fun! I have been working on the studies that you sent, thank you! We have so much stuff to do this week and we can't believe that we only have six days left! I can't wait to see you, but will be sad to leave. We are so used to things here that now being home will be a huge change...another culture shock!...especially with school. Will write more tomorrow.
