Itzel had her Pre-K graduation tonight, she was so cute. The madres invited Melissa and I today and Josephina came too! Itzel was all dressed up and all the kids did little dances with eachother...they are 3! They all sang a song, and Itzel had the microphone, but she had it right up to her mouth so you couldn't understand what she was saying. It was funny! Even funnier was that there was a teacher who was directing them on what to do, but he didn't do anything. Him being there, standing right out in front on the stage telling them what to do rather than doing it from the side stage, seemed very unusual. It was very unique cultural experience. There were 20 children in all, but only one from the orphanage. We felt very privileged that they invited us to come. It was a wonderful time.
I had a pretty bad stomach ache all day today, so I am going home to have some tea and hit the sack! Thanks for all the comments, and the emails. I really wish I could shake this homesickness, but the truth is that I love my home and I miss my parents. That's just the way it is! Love y'all! Leyna
