Today
Today was awesome! We had classes with two new teachers that were both incredibly nice and are helping us a lot. We are learning so much! We were planning on a trip to see pottery today, but instead went to the orphanage and stayed all day. We got home at 7pm. Madre Petra put us to work cleaning, doing dishes, laundry, and helping get the girls clothes and school supplies ready for school. It was wonderful working with Madre Petra, I love her! She is a godly woman. She was sad that we are leaving in two weeks, which made me feel special. I felt so accomplished today, being able to help so much and being able to speak Spanish with Madre all day...it was awesome! We are heading home now for PB & J and bed. We're tired, but blessed. I am not homesick, just feeling wonderful. Love, Leyna

I agree. Madre Petra is a "saint" in my estimation. Glad all is going well. Wish I was there again.
