Had to write...

I had to write and say what an amazing day that we had. We had the privilege of riding on the girls' bus from the orphanage to the theater, and sitting with the girls, some of them sprawled out on top of us in 90 degree weather, hugging and kissing us...oh my gosh. I cannot tell you what a blessing it is. Just being on the bus driven by a nun down the world's most narrow alleyway with 35 precious babies and 4 precious teenagers...an experience I will NEVER forget. God is so good. He has given us so many opportunities to hold, hug, kiss, rub, tickle, carry, protect, care. It's amazing! I cannot express how truly awesome it is for a little girl to grab your hand so tight and hold it non-stop for 2 hours...no matter what happens...she never lets go. She looks at you when she needs something, hoping that you will understand and meet her need. Especially with the language barrier, it reminds me how God always knows what we need, and He is just waiting for us to look to Him. We count on Him. And He never lets us down. We are counting on Him to keep showing us where we are to go, who we are to hold, how we are to spend our time. We are dependent on Him. Thanks for checking on us. Pam
