Our first Saturday

Today was our first saturday and our first day to rest! We slept in until 10:00! Then we all got ready and went to the orphangae for the birthday party they were having for 10 of the girls. We brought them gifts like bilingual books and journals that they could use to learn more english. They loved them! We ate with them, had cake, and danced and played games. It was alot of fun. Then we came home for some downtime. It was so nice to rest for a while. We made dinner and then headed out for a late-day walk to the Jardin. We went into a couple of stores and went to the ATM for some much-needed pesos. (they don't like to take american money) then we took a cab back home and are just hanging out and resting. Tomorrow we will go to the parade they are having downtown where everyone dresses up crazy and dances down the street. It should be interesting!
